I have to say that this week has been full of surprises and smiles. Liam helped welcome one of his new friends to the world on Wednesday night. Our good friends Matt and Cassie delivered their little baby boy, Brody, two days earlier than expected. I was hoping Cassie would hold out until midnight, making Brody a St. Patrick's Day baby, but he arrived with a couple of hours to spare.
We were in the waiting room during Cassie's labor, and of course Liam timed it perfectly to want to eat as soon as we arrived. So after finishing his bottle, Daddy took him walking to get a few burps out. Little did Jeramie realize that when he passed the nurses station he would be questioned about who's baby he was carrying around the floor. There were no hospital bracelets on either of them, making him suspect for baby natching! Jeramie assured the nurses that he was born at a different hospital, 8 weeks ago and was, for sure, his child. We kept him in the waiting room from there on out.
As for me, I've officially started working out again to get the last few pounds of baby weight off. It's pretty amazing how a woman's body changes after bringing another human into the world. My poor jeans fit everywhere except getting that button clasped! I am determined to get back into them within the next few weeks. Jeramie has also been trying to get his "sympathy weight" off. He's been going to a Cross-Fit gym 5 times a week and coming home with horror stories of what the days workout consisted of. Not my cup of tea, but I give him credit for sticking with it.
Enjoy the pictures for the week. We are taking Liam for his 2 month wellness check tomorrow so we will post about his first set of shots next time. Have a great week everyone!
