Healthy Little Boy

As stated in our last post, Liam went to the Dr. for his 2 month check up and his first set of shots.  Everything checked out great.  Liam is a healthy little boy and was a good boy for the whole visit.  That was until the nurse came in with his 3 shots and 1 oral vaccine. He did champ it out when taking the oral vaccine; sucked it down and even the nurse was impressed. Then came the needles!  The cry started fairly small but as soon as he realized what was going on and the second prick happened, the cry grew to a wail.  I definitely had tears in my eyes but held it together to comfort him as soon as the third was finished. Needless to say I am not looking forward to our 4 month check up and more vaccines!  I just feel so bad for the little guy.

He did get some cool band-aids to show off.

As for his stats, Liam is now 10lbs 11oz (in the 25th percentile), 23 inches long (50th percentile) and has a head measuring 15.75 inches (50th percentile... shocking considering the families he comes from).

Liam loves to stare at his hands these days.  I always catch him with one arm in the air, eyes firmly locked on his fingers above him. He still is struggling to like tummy time but we do see improvement with the strength of his shoulder and neck muscles.  We're hoping for steady head lifts in the next few weeks.

I've started a countdown till our trip back to NJ.  Currently at just 24 days!  We hope to get around to see everyone but with just 5 full days at home, it might get a little crazy.  Regardless... I'M SO EXCITED TO BRING LIAM HOME.

Enjoy the rest of the photos:

Already a Devils fan!
