Liam was introduced to rice cereal and oatmeal. Neither are his favorite but we are still giving it our all. Next month I'm sure we'll get the go ahead to start introducing foods, so the cereal will at least give him an idea of what consistency to expect. I'm hoping he'll enjoy the taste of fruits and veggies more than this bland cereal stuff.
He also was introduced to a bunch of germs and caught his first cold! I brought him to the Doctor on Tuesday of last week because he was sneezing up a bunch of boogers. Turns out, although he did not have a fever and his lungs were clear, he had a virus and we should let it run its course for 10 days. TEN DAYS!? We have his mattress propped up, humidifier going, saline drops for his nose and the snot sucker has been used so many times I'm ready to purchase two more just to have one in every room! Poor thing is still coughing a flemmy grossness up so if it does not improve over the next 2 days, I will be calling the Dr again.
I'm starting to wonder if he'll be cursed with my dreaded immune system. If that is the case, we'll be at the doctor every month! Between asthma, allergies, bronchitis, strep, pneumonia and ear infections, I was always at the doctor for something. So fingers crossed Liam gets Daddy's genes in this department.

Speaking of Daddy... Jeramie celebrated his first Father's Day this past Sunday! Besides a gift certificate to the Boot Barn (to buy a fancy pair of cowboy boots), Liam gave his Daddy a fun frame to put on his desk at work. The three photos above are in the frame. He loved the gifts and was able to go out on the golf course with a few friends in the morning. We also got to meet Aunt Liz, Uncle Jay and Cousins Josh and Sara, who came down to Fort Collins from their vacation in Vail for a quick Father's Day lunch. And last but not least, we have started laughing out loud ... aka GIGGLES! Enjoy this little clip as I sign off and try to ignore my loud tickling noises:

What a cute laugh!! Love it :)
