Sunday night I was starting to get a little anxious about leaving Liam at daycare until he woke up on Monday morning in a great mood and gave me a smile as I dropped him off with Kara. Some of you may remember the mention of our friend Cassie (revert back to hospital trip post, our friend who gave birth just three weeks ago). Well her mom, Kara, has an in-home daycare that Liam will be attending while I am at work Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We are so lucky to have someone we know and trust taking care of him part time instead of dropping him with a KinderCare type place. It definitely made the transition much easier for me and I'm happy to say there were no tears all week. Of course I missed him like crazy but it was also kind of nice to have some time to myself and have adult interactions even if it was at work.
Another big milestone was hit this week. Liam has started to sleep through the night! We haven't been very consistent yet but it seems like every other day we get a solid 6 hours of sleep. Last night was the best yet. He took his last bottle at 10pm was asleep by 11pm and didn't wake up, or make a sound, until 6am! I was shocked, but well rested. I'm hoping that this will continue and we can transition him to his crib. He is still sleeping in the bassinet in our room but I'm staring to put him down for naps in his crib during the day to get him used to the idea. Thats where he is right now as I type. (Love the video monitor.)
Liam also has been chatting up a storm this week. Check out the video below that Daddy caught after one of Liam's feedings.
Looking forward to Easter at home with the family! Can't wait to see all of you.
